London at the Library is an Antique Beat produced series of London related events, a 'Salon for the City', held on the last Thursday of most months at the Westminster Arts Reference Library.
The Salon will usually take the form of two talks exploring different aspects of the phenomenon known as London by invited speakers in the fields of history, the arts, business, fashion and culture.
The talks will be followed by Q+A and conversation.
We will also be having occasional performance, themed interviews and projections or films.
The salon is curated by The Clerkenwell Kid and Rossella Black with a rolling programme of guests including Marcus Risdell (the Garrick Club), Dr Matthew Green (guide), Andrew Scott (London Business School), Craig Taylor (author) Sukhdev Sandhu (Author and critic), Glen Duncan (novelist), Rachel LIchenstein (writer), Tom Bolton (writer) , Anthony Clayton (writer), Amber Jane Butchard (DJ), Susie Ralphs (University of Bath), Jelena Bekvalac (Museum of London), Ross MacFarlane (Wellcome Trust), Matt Brown (Londonist) and many others.
A soundtrack for the city will be provided by The Clerkenwell Kid
